As far as the unlimited calls are concerned, they are not unlimited at all. I have used three voip provider’s service. It is just a trap for the clients.

It should not be considered a trap. It is a kind of facility for others. You are not the only client who is sharing the lines. If you are using the lines more than others obviously, you should pay more than others. Companies have a just a calculated guess that each client makes that much calls at an average. So they start a package which allows you to make unlimited calls. If you start using these packages for you business, you are no doubt cheating that company which has started these calls for the residential users.

Actually, most of the voip providers offer unlimited calls but they don’t allow to use them for business purposes. Similarly if you misuse their service for illegal calls, definitely they have the right to cancel their service with you. So remember these packages are unlimited but within some boundaries and limitations

Now just survive in the market, many of them have switched their infrastructure to the voip technology. Their users remain unaware of it. All they know is a little decreased bills but they can’t understand the reason behind these decreased bills.

Besides billing, there are many other differences. You can use VoIP on your computer, ordinary touch tone phone and even on your mobile however, ordinary land line phone technology is not that much flexible. Even people are using voIP on the USB device.

Yes people are using voip service on the usb devices but remember this technology is not very successful. In fact, it is a huge failure in the market. The reason is USBs are using wireless technology, which is not as reliable as the ordinary wires.

I agree that. Many people think that there is some fault with the voip technology but it is not true. The problem is with the wireless technology. If the weather is suitable for it, you will get good sound quality otherwise, at times, you may get nothing at all.

Yes, I have witnessed it myself. With USB voip you are always having problems. I remember when I was using it. I had to stand up in a very awkward position in the toillet whenever I wanted to make a call. It was the only position where I could get signals.
